Job description
Oversee the commercial partnerships and sourcing strategies for sheet metal and extrusion components utilized in battery systems. Ensure consistent production, facilitate contract negotiations, and implement cost-saving measures through should-cost analysis and supplier oversight. Candidates should have relevant experience in sourcing stamped, formed, or extruded metal parts and managing contract manufacturers. Strong negotiation abilities, a solid understanding of tooling economics, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, on-site startup environment are essential.
