Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in assisting with surgical and consultation procedures, ensuring both patient care and documentation are handled effectively. This position demands a high level of attention to detail in maintaining precise patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support during surgical and consultative procedures.
- Keep meticulous patient records in the EMR system.
- Manage patient callbacks and communication.
- Facilitate the process of obtaining consents from patients.
- Coordinate prescription management for patients.
Qualifications
- Possession of Medical Assistant (MA) certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license is required.
- Hands-on clinical experience is essential, particularly with a focus on dermatology or surgery preferred.
