Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive grooming services for pets, ensuring that they receive proper care and attention. The groomer is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workspace while offering consultations to pet owners about their specific grooming preferences. Additionally, the individual will need to be observant, monitoring pets for any health concerns or signs of distress throughout the grooming session.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming tasks including bathing, cutting hair, and trimming nails for pets.
- Ensure a hygienic and secure environment for grooming activities.
- Consult with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and preferences.
- Observe pets closely for any health issues or signs of discomfort during grooming.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is required.
- Prior experience in pet grooming is necessary.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
