Job description
The Head Start Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing classroom activities that facilitate developmental growth for children, while also prioritizing their health and safety. This role includes overseeing associate teachers and volunteers, performing home visits, and encouraging active parent participation in the program. Applicants should hold a minimum of an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related discipline, along with a Child Development Associate Teacher Permit. Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of proven teaching experience with young children.
