Job Summary
The Host Home / Shared Living Provider plays a crucial role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals receiving home-based services. This position focuses on fostering meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. Providers will collaborate closely with clients and service coordinators to ensure tailored support that meets unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting their autonomy and dignity.
- Facilitate social and community engagement to help clients develop interpersonal skills.
- Maintain open communication with service coordinators and family members regarding the well-being of the individual.
- Support clients in achieving personal goals and objectives as outlined in their service plans.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and inclusive living environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
- State certification or training relevant to home care services may be required.
- Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.
