The provider plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure and nurturing home setting while supporting the individual in achieving daily living skills and personal aspirations. They serve as both an advocate and a mentor, facilitating the individual’s journey toward independence and fostering valuable community ties. To be eligible, candidates need to be a minimum of 18 years old, live in Iowa, and have a private bedroom available for the individual. Additionally, applicants must have dependable transportation, valid insurance, and meet the requirements for passing state and federal background screenings.
