Job Summary
The HR Generalist position is located in Eastern, Kentucky, and operates onsite. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role is crucial in providing HR support to plant leadership and acts as a vital business partner. The HR Generalist will focus on enhancing talent management, fostering employee engagement, overseeing performance management, and facilitating talent acquisition across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership in human resources matters.
- Promote talent management initiatives to improve workforce skills and capabilities.
- Enhance employee engagement through effective programs and practices.
- Oversee performance management processes to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Facilitate the talent acquisition process by collaborating with recruitment teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a multi-site operational environment.
- Strong understanding of talent management and employee engagement strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership to drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
