Job Summary
Harrison Nederland B.V., located in Portland, Oregon, is on the lookout for a seasoned HR Generalist to enhance its standalone HR function. This role will involve collaborating closely with leadership to oversee a variety of human resource responsibilities for a workforce consisting of 45 employees across diverse business sectors. The position is designed as a contract-to-hire opportunity and will require onsite presence.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to effectively manage and execute various HR functions.
- Support the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Facilitate training and development programs for staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and best HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
