Job Summary
The Hydraulics Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components in various settings. This role demands both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills, as you will work directly with clients to ensure their hydraulic machinery operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite diagnostics and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic equipment and components.
- Provide exceptional customer support and communicate effectively with clients regarding technical issues and solutions.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Keep abreast of advancements in hydraulic technology and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hydraulic technician or in a similar field.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in hydraulic systems is a plus.
