Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. This position is focused on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repair work.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to carry out projects effectively and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times while performing maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and hydraulic components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including 2nd shift hours.
