Job Summary
The Interventional Neuro & Vascular Technologist plays a critical role in the field of interventional radiology, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to assist in diagnosing and treating patients with complex neurovascular conditions. This position involves utilizing advanced imaging technologies and techniques to support various interventional procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of interventional procedures related to neuro and vascular conditions.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to facilitate efficient clinical workflows.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance the safety and effectiveness of diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current certification in relevant imaging modalities, such as ARRT or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, specifically related to neuro and vascular systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in interventional radiology settings is preferred but not mandatory.
