Job description
Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting laboratory operations through conducting experiments, collecting data, and maintaining equipment. This position requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring that tests are carried out efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols.
- Collect and analyze data, reporting results to senior staff.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of samples and reagents for testing.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and quality control measures.
- Document all laboratory procedures and results meticulously.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and practices.
