Job Summary
The Lead IT Associate Project Manager takes charge of the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring an optimal balance of business value, costs, schedules, and quality standards. This role involves acquiring necessary project resources and coordinating efforts among team members and external resources to meet project goals. Additionally, the individual will define project objectives and monitor quality throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and guides the entire IT project development process from inception to completion.
- Works with project sponsors to clarify project scope and define objectives.
- Creates detailed IT project plans and communication documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders and vendors to secure essential resources for successful project execution.
- Implements strategies aimed at meeting business objectives and enhancing project efficiency.
- Navigates project governance processes effectively.
- Prepares and submits budget proposals while suggesting adjustments as necessary.
- Encourages accountability among project team members and collaborates with their direct managers to ensure effective communication and individual growth.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing intricate, cross-functional technology initiatives from start to finish.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adjust to changing needs and priorities.
- Comfortable navigating complex IT settings, partnering with both technical and business teams to drive strategic projects.
- Experience in managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and maintaining stakeholder communication, while aligning with business goals.
- Collaborative approach with IT Operations teams to enhance enterprise technology services delivery.
- Strong organizational ability to drive project objectives to completion and inspire team members to achieve deliverables.
- Established experience in relationship building and mentoring others.
