Job Summary
The LPN Charge Nurse is responsible for the delivery of direct nursing care, medication administration, and the ongoing assessment of resident health in accordance with established protocols. In addition, this role involves providing leadership to junior staff and ensuring that documentation is precise and complies with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess health status of residents.
- Lead and mentor subordinate nursing staff effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with facility requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active North Dakota LPN license or be eligible to obtain one upon employment.
- Preferably have experience in long-term care settings, though this is not mandatory.
