Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – PD plays a crucial role in providing quality patient care. This position involves executing nursing tasks under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with the daily living activities of patients.
- Document patient progress and changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates and support.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Vocational Nurse license.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when necessary.
