Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapy Neonatal Pediatric role is primarily focused on providing specialized respiratory care to newborns and pediatric patients. The professional in this position will employ advanced therapeutic techniques and interventions to enhance respiratory function and support the overall health of infants and children with respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor respiratory status in neonates and pediatric patients.
- Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate families and caregivers on respiratory care practices and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a respiratory therapist.
- Specialized training and experience working with neonatal and pediatric populations.
- Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
