Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will utilize their nursing expertise to support and oversee patient care in accordance with the nursing process under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role is essential in ensuring safe and effective patient management.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and status systematically.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Document patient progress accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within the first 30 days of employment.
