Job description
Job Summary
The LPN Caregiver plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the daily living activities of residents in a healthcare or assisted living environment. This position requires compassion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure that all residents receive the care and attention they need.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Document patient care services and responses accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Qualifications
- Current practical nursing license in the relevant state.
- Experience in a caregiver or nursing role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directives from healthcare professionals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
