Job Summary
The role involves delivering direct nursing care to a variety of patient groups while working under the guidance of a registered nurse or other healthcare provider. The position requires adherence to prescribed policies and care plans, as well as effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to diverse populations of patients.
- Perform technical nursing procedures according to established policies and the plan of care.
- Reinforce routine education for patients regarding their health and care.
- Document all care and services provided accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a state board-approved School of Practical Nursing.
- Current licensure in Alabama or a multi-state license.
- Experience level can be as a recent graduate or an experienced nurse.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required prior to the conclusion of the orientation period.
