Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician role based in Solon, OH, involves the essential task of maintaining, repairing, adjusting, and ensuring the safe operation of industrial machinery to facilitate the daily production workflow. The technician will liaise with management to address equipment concerns and outline maintenance requirements and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute preventative maintenance processes.
- Conduct installations, repairs, and regular maintenance for electrical systems.
- Handle plumbing installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
- Install, adjust, and repair various machinery and production equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of boilers.
- Maintain and manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and parts including piping, pumps, and hardware.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment issues and maintenance requirements.
- Assist in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Practical experience in industrial plumbing.
- Background in boiler trades and HVAC systems.
- Experience with industrial instrumentation programming and maintenance.
- Welding skills are advantageous.
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Proficiency in computer applications for automation and data management.
- Experience with rigging and millwright practices is a plus.
