Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that all facility operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing urgent repair needs to maintain the safety and functionality of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to extend the lifespan of facilities.
- Respond to repair requests promptly to minimize disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to facilitate a smooth workflow within the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
