Job Summary
The Manufacturing Crew Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of a production team, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. This position entails managing daily activities, coordinating tasks among crew members, and fostering a positive work environment to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the workflow of the manufacturing crew to maintain productivity levels.
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor production processes and quality standards, providing feedback for improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives and address any employee concerns.
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any production issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
