Job Summary
The Mechanic IV position in San Antonio is responsible for advanced mechanical tasks and maintenance of equipment and vehicles. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical systems and troubleshooting methods to ensure reliable operation and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex repairs and maintenance on various mechanical systems.
- Diagnose issues with equipment and propose solutions to enhance functionality.
- Maintain documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics on technical skills and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve repair processes and equipment uptime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a mechanical environment.
