Job description
Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of mechanical design principles as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to fruition.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for new products.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and other specialists to integrate systems.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including design reports and project plans.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in mechanical design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering is preferred.
