The Medical Assistant will engage in hands-on patient support, oversee clinical paperwork, and contribute to administrative duties like appointment scheduling and securing prior authorizations. This role also involves training new staff members as well as ensuring the upkeep of clinic tools and testing records. Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma and hold a valid Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body. Furthermore, an AHA Basic Life Support certification and familiarity with medical coding and regulatory requirements are necessary.
