The Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in providing clinical assistance to physicians while also overseeing front desk operations, including patient registration and managing appointment schedules. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth clinic workflow by keeping precise patient records and offering exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a High School diploma or its equivalent and must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program. Additionally, certification as a Medical Assistant is necessary, with the requirement to pass the CCMA exam within 90 days of employment.
