Job Summary
The Medication Assistant for weekends plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive their prescribed medications accurately and on time. This position involves collaborating with healthcare teams to maintain quality patient care during weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to patients as per their prescriptions.
- Document medication administration and patient responses efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient needs and medication changes.
- Assist in maintaining an organized medication storage and handling process.
- Support patients with their daily activities as needed, promoting a comfortable environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved training program for medication assistants.
