**Medication Assistant**
The Medication Assistant plays a vital role in administering medications to residents in alignment with their individualized service plans, while ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation. This position also involves monitoring residents for any adverse reactions, upholding a tidy and organized medication storage area, and addressing residents’ needs swiftly and efficiently. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of related experience—ideally within a long-term care or geriatric environment. For positions in Florida, a valid Level 2 background screening is mandatory, alongside compliance with state-specific training and ongoing education requirements.
