Job description
**Mortgage Banker**
The Mortgage Banker plays a crucial role in the origination of retail mortgage loans, overseeing the comprehensive process from pre-approval through to closing. They are expected to maintain regular communication with potential clients, comply with investor requirements, and ensure that all documentation is accurately managed within the company’s systems. Candidates must hold a valid MLO license and have completed a high school education or equivalent. Competency in automated underwriting systems such as DU/LP, along with excellent organizational and communication abilities, is essential.
