Job Summary
The MRI CT Tech Assistant plays a vital role in aiding technologists by providing essential support in patient preparation, documentation assistance, and executing clinical responsibilities. This position is crucial for facilitating smooth imaging operations and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI and CT procedures.
- Assist with medical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform clinical tasks including IV access and positioning of patients.
- Ensure the safety and proper functioning of imaging equipment.
- Conduct quality control tests to uphold imaging standards.
- Maintain a sanitary and organized environment for the imaging services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting is necessary.
- Certifications in CPR or BLS are mandatory.
- Must possess various state-required clearances.
