Job Summary
The Network Engineer / Systems Administrator (SA) position in Honolulu, Hawaii, is focused on the development and improvement of our IT infrastructure. This role requires full U.S. citizenship and involves working onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of activities that enhance our operational capabilities and ensure effective IT support.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage network systems to improve performance and security.
- Conduct routine maintenance and audits of existing systems.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals, such as Operations Engineers and IT Support Engineers, to address technical issues.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in network engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of information systems and cybersecurity principles.
- Educational background in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
