Job description
**Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer**
The ideal applicant will be responsible for crafting and overseeing geotechnical designs for open pits and waste rock storage facilities at all stages of the project lifecycle. Key duties will involve executing geotechnical evaluations, ensuring compliance with slope design regulations, and working closely with site teams to coordinate field operations. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering or a related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of practical geotechnical experience in an operating open pit mine. Familiarity with geotechnical software, including Rocscience, Maptek, and LeapFrog, is essential, alongside excellent technical communication capabilities.
