Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our esteemed medical team in Sandy, Utah. This role involves providing care to adults with diabetes, endocrine conditions, and other complex health issues. The successful candidate will have a strong history of managing the health of medically complex populations and will play a crucial role in patient education and treatment adjustment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for adults with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
- Assess and interpret laboratory results to inform treatment decisions.
- Monitor and manage the health of patients with multiple complexities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including certified diabetes educators and registered dietitians.
- Adjust treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and responses.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in managing patients with complex medical conditions.
- Proficient in the management of type 2 diabetes and endocrine issues.
- Strong skills in patient education and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
