Job Summary
The position of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the OBGYN department is a vital role based in Hillsboro, Oregon. This 32-hour-per-week onsite position involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in the obstetrics and gynecology field under the supervision of a physician. The candidate will engage in various clinical responsibilities requiring a thorough understanding of women’s health issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of NP/PA Float protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform health assessments and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
Qualifications
- A valid Registered Nurse License in Oregon or a Physician Assistant certification.
- Ability to obtain necessary certification within six months of hire.
- Experience in women’s health or related fields is preferred.
