We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Palliative Medicine to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This onsite role involves providing comprehensive patient management, support, and collaborative medical decision-making alongside Physicians, ensuring high-quality care and emotional support for patients facing serious illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Offer medical care and support to patients in palliative settings.
- Engage in shared medical decision-making practices with Physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Ensure adherence to the Standards of Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Uphold the ANA Code of Ethics in all interactions and medical practices.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Specialization or significant experience in palliative care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and families.
- Commitment to ethical practices in patient care.
