Job Summary
The Nurse Resident provides direct patient care at the bedside, evaluating patient requirements, and formulates personalized care plans while working under the guidance of a preceptor. This role emphasizes teamwork with an interdisciplinary group to effectively manage patient outcomes and ensures that all care is documented in compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside patient care and assess individual patient needs.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans under the supervision of a preceptor.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Florida or a compact state.
- Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- This position is designated for nurses with less than one year of clinical experience.
