Job Summary
The role involves overseeing the nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating nursing services and ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and manage hiring and training processes.
- Evaluate ongoing nursing staff performance and assign duties accordingly.
- Assess patient needs and provide necessary nursing care.
- Document nursing care provided and maintain records for both patients and supplies.
- Support staff education and contribute to the development of nursing protocols.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- One to two years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
