Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in assessing and providing treatment for individuals facing physical, psychosocial, or cognitive challenges, with the aim of enhancing their functional independence. This position focuses on fostering recovery and promoting quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to identify impairments impacting their daily functioning.
- Create and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and support for patients.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are preferred for travel between locations.
- At least one year of relevant experience in the field is desirable.
