The Office Coordinator oversees day-to-day administrative and clinical functions, which entails supervising staff, coordinating patient appointments, and verifying insurance. This role also includes responsibilities typical of a medical assistant, such as preparing patients for examinations and managing the inventory of medical supplies. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, while a bachelor’s degree is favorable. Additionally, a BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory, coupled with 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or customer service.
