Job description
The Oncology Case Manager plays a crucial role in the medication reimbursement process by acting as a liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. This position also involves offering continuous education and assistance to patients to promote adherence to their treatment plans and facilitate access to specialty medications. Applicants should possess at least 5 years of experience in pharmacy, along with a high school diploma or its equivalent. A strong understanding of health insurance, prior authorization procedures, and compliance with HIPAA regulations is necessary.
