Job Summary
The Clinical Specialist plays a crucial role in the support of patient registration, diagnostic assessments, and electronic medical record documentation for eye examinations conducted both onsite and remotely. This position also serves as a key intermediary between patients and optometrists, ensuring efficient management of patient flow and clinical supplies.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient registration processes and assist with diagnostic testing.
- Support electronic medical record documentation for eye examinations.
- Act as a liaison between patients and optometrists to enhance communication.
- Manage patient flow in the clinical environment.
- Oversee the inventory and supply of clinical materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of applicable experience in an optical or healthcare environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate varying clinic needs.
