Job Summary
The Orthodontic Assistant will play a vital role in supporting orthodontic procedures and enhancing patient care. This position involves working closely with orthodontists to ensure efficient and effective treatment for patients seeking orthodontic services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the clinical environment and equipment.
- Support the orthodontist throughout various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment plans.
- Manage patient records and appointment schedules.
- Perform sterilization of tools and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting qualifications preferred.
- Experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
