Job Summary
The role focuses on delivering personalized and culturally appropriate patient care, ensuring that patients’ personal needs and comfort are prioritized under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The individual will contribute to the nursing team by assisting with various delegated tasks and will engage in both shift and bedside reporting to ensure continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and culturally sensitive care to patients.
- Attend to patients’ personal needs and comfort under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Support the nursing team by assisting with delegated responsibilities.
- Participate actively in shift and bedside reporting to facilitate effective communication.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent certification (CNA/PCA/PCT).
- Current CPR certification.
- Preferred one year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care environment.
