The Patient Transporter collaborates with a team to assist in relocating pediatric, adult, and senior patients to different hospital departments, such as surgery and diagnostic areas. This role includes ensuring the cleanliness of transportation equipment and effectively relaying transport requests through a two-way radio system. Candidates must possess a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association at the time of hire. Although prior experience in a similar healthcare role is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
