Job Summary
The pharmacist will be tasked with delivering professional pharmacy services that encompass prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and oversight of pharmacy technicians. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding medication use and health management.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians to maintain operational standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and pharmacy policies.
- Administer immunizations as part of patient care services.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Board of Pharmacy license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations related to pharmaceuticals.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- APhA Immunization certification is preferred.
