**Phlebotomy Technician**
The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for performing blood draws and capillary punctures for patients ranging from infants to seniors in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Key duties include observing patients for any adverse reactions, upholding laboratory safety protocols, and working alongside team members to facilitate smooth specimen collection processes. Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or GED and possess a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I license from the State of California. Furthermore, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and a current driver’s license are also required.
