Job Summary
The Planner I plays a crucial role in assessing and overseeing production orders to ensure they align with assembly line timetables and the requirements for service parts. This position involves monitoring inventory levels, managing the availability of materials, and reporting essential performance metrics to foster ongoing process enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate production orders to support assembly line schedules.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels to meet service parts demand.
- Manage the availability of materials needed for production.
- Analyze and report key performance indicators for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in production planning and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of MRP functionality, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and pull systems.
