Job Summary
The Planning Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing demand forecasting and replenishment strategies, acting as the key operational liaison between Walmart and the internal teams. This position focuses on optimizing inventory levels, enhancing in-stock performance, and promoting operational excellence through the use of data-informed insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead the demand forecasting process and manage replenishment planning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operations between Walmart and internal teams.
- Optimize inventory management to ensure efficient stock levels.
- Drive improvements in in-stock performance metrics.
- Utilize data analysis to inform and enhance operational strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or inventory management.
- Proven proficiency in Walmart’s replenishment systems, specifically Retail Link and Scintilla.
