Plant Operator
Lancaster, TX

As a Plant Operator, you will engage in site-specific tasks and responsibilities within the manufacturing sector of the company. You will handle various construction chemicals throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes and operate different equipment involved in product manufacturing. Your role will include executing routine maintenance, operating forklifts, and conducting quality control assessments.
Key Responsibilities for Plant Operator:
- Assist in the blending and mixing of chemical admixtures.
- Unload raw materials from diverse delivery methods (bulk tankers, pallets, drums, totes) following site instructions.
- Load bulk trucks and different types of packaged finished products in accordance with site directives.
- Utilize forklifts for various tasks.
- Conduct tests and inspections on raw materials and completed products to verify compliance with quality specifications.
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained within your designated area.
- Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Complete all required training related to environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) regulations.
- Adhere to EH&S regulations and follow company policies.
- Perform other assigned tasks as required by the company.
Requirements for Plant Operator:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
