Job Summary
The role involves providing senior platform engineering support for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Centralized Common Environment (CCE) infrastructure. This includes managing high-priority tickets and implementing hardware and software upgrades. The position emphasizes the creation of comprehensive design documentation, project estimates, and cost-benefit analyses while ensuring effective technology integration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee platform engineering for DFAS CCE infrastructure.
- Address and resolve priority ticket requests.
- Implement new hardware and software solutions.
- Prepare detailed design documentation and project estimates.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed systems.
- Ensure smooth integration of technology within the infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise systems engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration.
- Possession of an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as Security+ and Microsoft Azure AZ-801/802 are required.
