Job Summary
The primary goal of this role is to take comprehensive technical stewardship of UMH-os and UMH Connect, evaluating and enhancing the current platform while delivering production-grade applications and integrations. This position also involves building and managing production AI agents, supervising development partnerships, and potentially assembling and leading a small nearshore engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Assume technical ownership of UMH-os and UMH Connect.
- Evaluate and improve the existing platform to ensure robustness and efficiency.
- Deliver production applications and facilitate seamless integrations.
- Establish and govern production-level AI agents.
- Oversee and coordinate with development partners on projects.
- Lead and potentially recruit a nearshore engineering team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of eight years of professional experience in software engineering.
- At least three years of experience in leading or architecting production business applications.
- Proficient in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with LLM agents, Azure services, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with SQL, Salesforce, Microsoft Graph integrations, and application security.
- Experience with end-to-end platform ownership.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
