Job description
Job Title: Mental Health Counselor
This position involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy for individuals residing in a shelter, alongside managing intakes, assessments, and crisis intervention strategies. The Mental Health Counselor is responsible for keeping detailed clinical documentation and collaborating on service plans within a multidisciplinary team framework. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor credential is mandatory, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk youth populations. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in Florida and successfully complete a criminal background screening.
